Terms of Use
Last updated: October 1, 2026
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the TourOrganization.com website and mobile app (together, the "Platform"). The Platform is operated by [Company legal name] Inc., a company organized under the laws of [Province], Canada, with its registered office at [Registered address] ("we", "us" or "our").
By creating an account, publishing a listing, sending a booking or quote request, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. What the Platform does
The Platform is an online marketplace that connects people looking for tours, events and related services with the organizers and suppliers who provide them. On the Platform:
- tour and event organizers, venues and suppliers ("Providers") publish listings for tours, events, products and services;
- attendees can book listings, request quotes, send group requests, exchange messages with Providers and leave reviews;
- visitors without an account can send a "quick quote" request by describing what they need;
- you can sign up with an email address or with your Google account, and use the Platform on the web or through our Android app, which can send push notifications.
2. Our role: we are an intermediary
We provide the marketplace; we do not provide the tours, events, products or services offered in listings. Providers are independent businesses or individuals, not our employees or agents. When you book a listing or accept a quote, the contract for that service is between you and the Provider.
Each Provider is responsible for its own listings and services, including their accuracy, pricing, delivery, quality and safety, and for holding any licences, permits and insurance its services require. We are not a party to the contract between you and a Provider, and we are not responsible for how a Provider performs it.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you register on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it.
- The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
- You may not open an account for someone else or using another person's identity. Duplicate accounts held by the same person may be closed.
- If you sign in with Google, your use of your Google account is also subject to Google's terms.
4. Rules for organizers and suppliers
- Your listings must be accurate, up to date and not misleading, including prices, dates, capacity, descriptions and images.
- We review every listing before it is published. We may reject a listing, ask you to change it, or remove it.
- You are responsible for holding all licences, permits, registrations and insurance required for the services you offer, and for providing proof of them if we ask.
- Confirmed bookings and accepted quotes are binding between you and the attendee. Your cancellation and refund terms must be stated clearly in the listing or quote.
- You may use the contact details of attendees and visitors only to handle the request or booking they relate to. You may not add them to marketing lists or share them with anyone else.
5. Rules for attendees and visitors
- Bookings, quote requests, group requests and quick quote requests must be made with a genuine intention to take part. Fake, duplicate or abusive requests will be closed, and the account involved may be suspended.
- When a booking is confirmed, the payment and cancellation terms stated in the listing or quote apply.
6. Quotes and requests
When you send a quote request, group request or quick quote request, we forward it to approved Providers in the relevant category. Those Providers may contact you through the Platform or using the contact details you shared. By sending a request, you agree that your contact details will be shown to those Providers for this purpose. We do not guarantee how many quotes you will receive or what they will contain.
7. Payments
Unless clearly stated otherwise, you pay the Provider directly. We do not process payments for bookings and are not a party to disputes about payments, refunds or collections, which are between you and the Provider. We may introduce paid services in the future, such as paid memberships, featured placement or commissions; if we do, we will announce the terms on the relevant page in advance.
8. Reviews and other content you post
- Reviews must reflect a genuine experience and must not contain insults, defamatory statements, other people's personal information or advertising.
- You keep ownership of the photos, text and other content you upload. You confirm that you have the rights to that content, and you grant us a free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use it for the purpose of displaying it on the Platform.
9. What is not allowed
- Content that is illegal or obscene, contains hate speech, glorifies violence, or is insulting or discriminatory. We reject such content through automated and manual checks.
- Using photos, text, trademarks or designs that belong to someone else without permission.
- Software or methods that damage the Platform's technical infrastructure, collect data automatically (scraping), mislead users or generate duplicate requests.
10. Notifications
We tell you about activity on your account (such as listing approvals, bookings, quotes and messages) by email, by on-site notification and, in the mobile app, by push notification. You can manage your notification preferences in your account and in the app settings.
11. Our intellectual property
The Platform's design, software, logo, text and database belong to us. Content posted by users belongs to those users. You may not copy, reproduce or commercially use any part of the Platform without our written permission.
12. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close, without prior warning, any account that breaches these Terms, and remove any content that breaches them.
13. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from the relationship between Providers and attendees, a service not being provided, cancellations or delays, content posted by users, or the Platform being unavailable. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version is always published on this page, and we will also notify registered users of significant changes. If you continue to use the Platform after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of [Province] and the federal laws of Canada applicable in that province. The courts of the Province of [Province] have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform.
If you use the Platform as a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the place where you live, or of any right you have under those laws to bring proceedings in your local courts.
17. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at info@tourorganization.com or by mail at [Company legal name] Inc., [Registered address].
